I am licensed in both Nebraska and Idaho with years of experience in many factors of the law.
I’ve represented hundreds of clients in custody and divorce matters, wills and probate, drafting power of attorney, criminal misdemeanors, child protection, juvenile cases, mental health commitments, and landlord/tenant issues.
I’ve represented clients in an especially large number of felony criminal cases and I’m committed to protecting your rights and guiding you through a difficult time if you have been charged with a crime.
I started life moving around the country and living in Great Britain while my father was in the Air Force. But my roots are here in Idaho and I graduated locally from Blackfoot High School and then went on to university at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. I graduated cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in both History and Russian and a minor in Political Science.
I received my Juris Doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. I enjoyed participating in Moot Court and was an editor on the International Law Journal as well as an officer for the legal honor society Phi Delta Phi.
I have a great love for learning about the world and served a LDS mission in Dnepropetrovsk Ukraine and later interned in Moscow, Russia for a summer where I met my wife. I then interned for a semester in Washington, D.C. and our family enjoyed visiting relatives in Spain as well.
These experiences have given me a great love for many different people and cultures, but after living abroad I’ve found that there is no better place to live than right here in eastern Idaho where I grew up. I’m more than excited to work and to raise my family back here at home.
I’ve been heavily involved with church, boy scouts, and most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I love to read and to play musical instruments. I play the piano and I also played the saxophone throughout my time at BYU in the BYU Marching Band and Pep Band.
I still currently enjoy performing in community groups. When I’m not too busy, I still enjoy learning languages and I speak Russian fluently.
